做题的技巧

段落的大疑问题主要调查考生对一段的理解程度以及该段在整个语篇中的作用能力,一般对该段的主题或目的设置问题。做这种问题,关键是抓住这段内容的要点。常用技术包括:

1.找到主题文。部分文章中段落的主题句在段落的开头或结尾。这类文章一般段内层次比较明显,大多数采用“共——分”或“共——分”结构。但是,如果段落结构通常是细节——主题——细节,则主题句可能会出现在段落的中间。要掌握段落的逻辑结构,必须特别注意在段落中充当过渡的单词,如However、But、and、Also、for Example、in conclusion和on the contrary。

2.用关键词概括。部分段落没有明确的主题文,考生需要根据已知的细节自行总结段落的大意。这时,通过简要阅读最能表达作者意图的关键词,可以确认作者要表达的真正意思。

做题的技巧

专科质疑制测试考生是否能辨别主题和细节,是否有能力掌握大纲。做这种问题的时候,要求考生了解专业细节,然后使用概括、判断、归纳、推理等逻辑方法进行文章总结。常用技术包括:

1.找到主题文。文章主题句一般出现在文章的第一段或最后一段,部分文章主题句需要总结各段段落以获得大意。

2.抓住高频单词。如果选项格式是一两个词或一个短语,文章中反复提到的概念或名称大部分是正确的选项。

3.请看可选特性。正确的选项通常不包含表示绝对含义的单词,也不能概括细节、表达部分观点或包含句子中未提及的内容。
